It is quicker to present material this way and teachers don't have to repeat themselves in class after class. It opens up more time in class for collaboration and discussion. I searched the resources given and didn’t have much luck identifying what the acronym stood for. That was irritating. McCammon is an advocate for the flipped classroom and lists efficiency, improving the life of the teacher, strengthening relationships, improves the quality of teaching, use class time for collaboration, differentiate instruction and allows for blended instruction.
