To Hunt or Not to Hunt

Modern hunting is embroiled in a major controversy. There are approximately 14 million hunters confronting an indeterminate number of animal rights activists who aim to have hunting banned in the United States. The two groups are polarized. This chapter provides the fundamental basis for each party’s position and objectively presents their point of view. Most importantly, it targets the heart of this divisive issue—the morality of the “sport.”
