My Registration

What do I do if I have not received my registration confirmation e-mail?

Before arriving at the conference, please contact us at reg@nsta.org.

At the conference, please visit Conference Services located just inside the entrance of Bartle Exhibit Hall (level 3).

Packing

What should I bring with me to the conference?
  • Please bring credit/debit cards, as some establishments in Kansas City are cashless. The Convention Center accepts cash and all major credit/debit cards.

  • Please also consider packing masks, sanitizers, and cleaners.

  • Layered clothing/light jackets. Kansas City is beautiful in autumn, but the weather varies. Check the weather prior to, as temperatures average 68 for the high and 46 for the low.

Travel & Transportation

What airport should I use?

The local airport is Kansas City International Airport (MCI) which is approximately 20 miles from the Kansas City Convention Center.

How do I get from the airport to the conference hotels?

What are the conference hotels?

NSTA has contracted with several downtown Kansas City hotels. Please visit the NSTA housing page at 2023 Kansas City Housing for information.

Do the hotels require a credit card when checking in?

Yes, conference hotels require a valid credit card for incidental fees. Once your hotel reservation is booked, you may contact the hotel directly to find out what they charge for incidental fees, so you’re prepared ahead of time.

Who do I contact if there are problems with my housing reservation?

Convention Center

Where is the conference located?

Conference Services, the exhibits, the NSTA Hub/Store, most sessions, and events will be located at the Kansas City Convention Center (KCCC) at 301 W 13th St, Kansas City, MO 64105. Although most meetings and events will be at the KCCC there will also be some held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown at 200 W 12th St, Kansas City, MO 64105.

Where can I find lactation rooms?

Lactation rooms will be located in the 2200 and 2300 Lobbies

Is there complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the convention center? If so, what is the access code?

There is complimentary wireless internet throughout the convention center for simple usage only, such as checking email. Please note that due to the amount of usage by attendees, connectivity may be spotty at times. To connect to Wi-Fi the network name is "Free Internet", then you'll enter your email address when prompted.

Where are the closest medical facilities located?

  • Items found in the convention center will be taken to the conference services desk.

  • Following the conference, you may contact the security office within the Convention Center at 816-513-5000 to retrieve items.

Hours of Operation

When does the conference begin and end?

Registration opens at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 25 followed by the Opening Reception to kick off the conference at 4:00 PM. The conference officially ends on Saturday, October 28, at 5:00 PM.

What are the hours for Conference Services?

Conference Services will be open during the following hours:

Located in the Bartle Exhibit Hall which is located on the 3rd floor of the convention center, Exhibits will be open during the following hours:

What time zone is Kansas City?

Kansas City is on Central Daylight Time.

Parking

Parking is available below Barney Allis Plaza, off Central, between 12th and 13th streets. Fee varies based on the day.

How do I get around town?
  • Getting around Kansas City is easy whether by Bus or the complimentary Kansas City Streetcar.

  • You can also use Uber and Lyft.
