The Steppingstone Magnetic Resonance Training Center: Opportunities for Students and Faculty in a True Research Laboratory Setting

In response to the national call for more scientists, Steppingstone School for Gifted Education responded by establishing the Steppingstone Magnetic Resonance Training (SMART) Center, which will be described in this chapter. In collaboration with Bruker Bio-Spin and Scientific Software Services, the program was designed to attract gifted students, who are the most likely to pursue and excel in this type of scientific research.
