Useful Magnifiers

edited by: William C. Ritz and William Straits

This activity focuses on using magnifiers to look closely at objects. Encourage students to use them in any part of the classroom or outdoors to help in their investigation. Magnifiers should always be kept in the science center as a reminder that it is a tool that will help to see the object more closely. A materials list, internet resources, standards, and safety practices are provided. This book selection also includes the Table of Contents, Preface, About the Editors, Introduction, Simple Graphing for Young Children, Science Teaching Boards and Boxes, Basic Materials List, and Index.
