Editor's Roundtable: Where are we now? (January 2005)

Trends in Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), two major international studies of achievement in science and mathematics, provide insights and an opportunity to increase students' science achievement. These two international studies help us assess science education reform efforts, and is the focus of this article.
