Nonnative species have been introduced to the USA for various ‘good reasons’ as well as for convenience. This problem has become monumental in changing the ecosystem in various areas of the USA. This article introduces curriculum materials such as “Don’t Let It Loose” curriculum from the National Park Service designed for middle school but easily adapted to other grades. There are numerous websites also provided at the end of the article that will help to introduce invasive species as a topic in the classroom.
