by: Milton Huling and Jackie Speake Dwyer

Doing STEM does not need to be difficult for teachers. By helping teachers understand the method for StEMTifying their existing lessons and turning them into STEM lessons, engineering becomes another tool that is helpful and beneficial for students. Our goal has always been to make STEM more understandable for teachers who can then design effective and meaningful STEM lessons. Chapters 1-4 are included in this book selection. These chapters focus on the STEM vision, the four disciplines of STEM, what STEM looks like in practice, and the integration of STEM. Teacher background information, standards, safety notes, and references are included. This book selection also includes the Table of Contents, Foreword, Preface, Acknowledgments, About The Authors, About Our Approach, Connection to Standards, Conclusion, Appendix A, and Index.
