Putting It All Together–Decision Models

edited by: Carla C. Johnson, Janet B. Walton, and Erin Peters-Burton

In this lesson, students will use the knowledge they have gained through their research, investigations, and classroom discussions to compare and contrast strength, span length, structure, and function of the four bridge designs explored in this module. By the end of the lesson, they will have completed their decision model, developed a presentation, and presented to their peers, members of the local department of transportation, and other members of the community. We recommend reading Chapter 3, which is included in this book selection and provides a module overview and summary. A materials list, safety notes, standards, assessment, teacher background information, Internet resources, additional resources, and references are provided. This book selection also includes the Table of Contents, About the Editors and Authors, Acknowledgments, Appendix, and Index.
